Manufacturing Shop Assistant.

Equipment manufacturing startup needs an entry level helper to learn how to assemble mechanical systems, help keep things organized, clean up, etc.

The right person will eventually be trained to take on more advanced tasks.

This is an entry level job with entry level pay. As the business grows, and we will promote and train from within. Mechanical aptitude, ability to use power and hand tools is a must.

Looking for that person who is a self-starter, can find things to keep busy when workload is slow (cleaning, organizing, learning new skills, etc.) and not be babysat or having to be told what to do when there is work to be done. Being self-taught on car repairs, or something similar is a plus. Need to be clean and organized, able to work on a ladder occasionally (larger machines)

32 Hrs a week to start, weekdays 7:30-3:30 , 4-5 days a week.
Indoor, air conditioned shop.

Must be able to get to work and be reliable.

Not looking for a prima donna Senior Technician or Engineer who will just leave for a better paying job. This is a ground floor opportunity for a person with some job experience and hands-on mechanical or electrical aptitude.
Mist be willing to ask questions and learn, but not necessarily have technical school or training.
This is an opportunity to learn and start a technical career.
