Dental Assistant (Licensed) – Friendly Private Practice + Bonus

Overview:
AZ Prime Dental is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, brings a positive attitude to the workplace, and is eager to become a valued member of a professional dental team. No prior experience is required - while dental assisting experience is a plus, what matters most is your willingness to learn, adaptability, and enthusiasm for growth. We are happy to provide training to the right candidate who is ready to build a rewarding career in dentistry. We also offer a monthly performance-based bonus tied to team production, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside the practice and be rewarded for your contributions.

Duties:
- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring instruments are sterilized and infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Take dental X-rays (training provided if needed)
- Monitor vital signs and support comprehensive patient care using proper dental terminology and anatomical knowledge
- Ensure patient comfort and deliver a positive, welcoming experience
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and uphold aseptic techniques
- Support basic administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred (general and/or pediatric dentistry a plus)
- Knowledge of chairside assisting techniques and infection control standards
- Ability to take X-rays and record vital signs accurately (or willingness to be trained)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and dental terminology
- Dental assisting certification or relevant coursework preferred
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing demeanor
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a positive workplace culture
