Position Overview

As an Appointment Opener, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients who have inquired about assistance with IRS debt. You will conduct structured qualification calls in Spanish, assess case viability, gather financial details, and schedule consultations with licensed tax professionals.

This position requires a strong understanding of common IRS programs such as:

• Offer in Compromise (OIC)
• Installment Agreements (IA)
• Penalty Abatement
• Currently Not Collectible (CNC)
• Wage Garnishments and Bank Levies

Key Responsibilities

• Contact inbound and warm leads promptly
• Conduct professional qualification calls in Spanish
• Assess eligibility based on basic financial criteria
• Accurately document case details in CRM systems
• Set qualified appointments for senior tax consultants
• Handle objections with confidence and compliance awareness

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) — required
• Proven experience in tax resolution or tax-related services — required
• Strong understanding of IRS processes and terminology
• Professional phone presence and objection-handling skills
• Goal-driven and performance-oriented mindset
• Experience in call center or appointment-setting roles preferred
