Landscaper

A company in San Juan Capistrano is seeking a Landscaping Crew Member with line-trimming, hand-weeding, and spraying skills. This position is responsible for working as a team member under the direct supervision of a Crew Leader. The work varies each day but can include: vegetation management, weed removal, and maintaining plants. The shift is Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This is a temporary(about 7 weeks or less) , full-time position with a pay of $20 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Operate a variety of equipment, including weed whackers and hand weeders
Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements, often on uneven terrain
Position requires consistently moving, walking, stooping, and kneeling

Education and Essential Skills

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Punctual and dependable
Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels
Must be able to pass a background check* and drug screening (*Company will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law)
