CNC Laser Operator - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:30 am - Overtime Fridays as needed

Experience Required: 3+ Years

We are looking for an experienced CNC Laser Operator who knows their way around a laser table and takes pride in producing clean, accurate parts. If you can read prints, set up jobs correctly, and understand that quality and safety are not optional, you will fit in well here.

This role is hands-on and production focused. You will work closely with leads, quality, and other departments to keep work flowing and parts meeting spec. If you enjoy problem-solving, dialing in machines, and leaving things better than you found them, keep reading.

What You Will Do

Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand part requirements
Set up and operate CNC laser machines to produce precision metal components
Experience on Amada CO2 laser equipment is strongly preferred
Adjust machine settings to improve cut quality and production efficiency
Segregate nested parts and handle material correctly to avoid damage
Follow packaging standards to prevent dents, scratches, or other defects
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges
Troubleshoot laser and process issues as they arise
Perform daily routine maintenance on laser equipment
Maintain a clean work area and ensure FOD is not mixed with conforming parts
Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming product
Work safely and efficiently while meeting quality and production expectations
What We Are Looking For

Minimum of 3 years experience operating CNC laser equipment
Strong preference for experience with Amada CO2 lasers
Solid understanding of prints, tolerances, and material types
Comfortable using precision measuring instruments
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work well with leads, quality, and other operations personnel
Dependable, safety-minded, and accountable for your work
