Forklift Operator / Order Picker

Location: Simi Valley, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and Overtime as needed.

---Position Overview---
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Order Picker to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for accurately pulling orders, safely operating forklifts and material-handling equipment, and staging materials for production or shipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


---Key Responsibilities---
-Read and interpret work orders, pick tickets, and shipping documents
-Accurately select, count, and stage materials for production or delivery
-Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
-Prepare, secure, and transport loads to designated areas
-Load and unload trucks and containers as required
-Update inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits
-Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues immediately
-Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment
-Follow all OSHA, company safety, and operational procedures

---Qualifications---
-Valid forklift certification required
-Minimum 1 to 2 years of forklift or material handling experience preferred
-Experience with order picking and inventory control strongly preferred
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Reliable attendance and punctuality required
