Part-Time Companion Needed for Elderly Woman in Westfield Nursing Home

We are seeking a warm, dependable, and compassionate individual to spend a few hours each day as a companion and provide light assistance to our elderly mother in a nursing home in Westfield, NJ. Location: A reputable nursing home facility in the Westfield, NJ area.
Hours:
Approximately 2-3 hours per day, 5 days a week.
Specific times are flexible, but generally needed in the late morning or afternoon (e.g., anytime between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm).
Responsibilities:
The facility staff manages all medical and personal care needs. The primary goal of this position is companionship and non-medical assistance.
Engage in friendly conversation, provide social interaction, and offer emotional support.
Accompany her on short walks within the facility or grounds (weather permitting).
Play simple games, read books/newspapers aloud, or watch TV together.
Help organize her room, personal belongings, and ensure her space is tidy and comfortable.
Communicate with the family regarding her mood and activities.
Qualifications:
Must be reliable and punctual; consistency is important for her well-being.
A kind, patient, and respectful personality is essential.
