Senior Bench Jeweler / Master Fabricator / Goldsmith

The Role:
This is not a traditional factory or assembly-line position. As a Senior Bench Jeweler, you will take ownership of complex fabrication, repairs, and custom work from concept through completion. You’ll work across metals, stones, and techniques, troubleshoot design challenges, and collaborate closely with our sales and design team. You’ll also help set technical standards, mentor developing jewelers, and contribute your expertise to the studio as a whole.

Required Skills & Experience:
*Extensive experience fabricating jewelry from sheet and wire in mixed metals, solid gold (14K + 18K), and solid silver
*Advanced stone setting (tube, bezel, prong, flush, pavé)
*Complex repairs (resizing, re-tipping, stone replacement/resetting, safety chains, Tiffany beads, etc.)
*Strong ability to troubleshoot design and construction challenges in collaboration with the sales team
*Milling, rolling, and drawing ingots
*High-level polishing and finishing
*Willingness to both learn from others and actively share knowledge with the team

Bonus Skills:
*Casting knowledge and operation
*Experience working in 22K and/or 24K
*Wax carving
*CAD/CAM design experience
*Jewelry sketching
*Confident + professional customer-facing communication

Responsibilities:
*Lead fabrication of high-end custom and repurposed projects
*Produce work from our mixed-metal jewelry line at a high standard of finish
*Execute complex stone setting and repairs
*Collaborate with sales/design on feasibility, timelines, and solutions
*Informally mentor junior jewelers and help elevate studio standards

A bench test is required prior to any offer of employment.
