Our small, mission-driven private school in Viera is seeking a highly organized and dependable Director’s Assistant / Office Administrator with strong leadership qualities.
This role is ideal for someone who brings the professionalism, initiative, and judgment often found in assistant principals, directors, or senior administrative staff, and who is looking for a long-term position within a close-knit school community.

Position Overview:
This role is central to the daily operations of the school and plays a key role in keeping our school running smoothly by managing daily office operations, records & communications systems management, supporting school leadership and serving as a friendly point of contact for families and staff.
The position also assists with nonprofit-related administrative functions and requires sound judgment, organization, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative, office management, or school-related role
Extremely reliable, friendly, organized, and detail-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills
Highly computer-savvy, with strong proficiency in professional written communication and standard office systems such as Microsoft Office (Word / Excel) & Google Drive shared files & applications
Professional demeanor with the ability to exercise discretion and is comfortable working independently and supporting school leadership
Interest in long-term employment and growth within the school
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with grants, scholarships, fundraising support or nonprofit administration
Database Management Experience (knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred)
Graphic Design (familiarity with basic graphic design tools such as Canva or similar platforms)
Schedule:
School hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
(some schedule flexibility and the possibility of more hours is available)
