Full-Time Custodian (Poipu/Koloa)

Join our team as a full-time Custodian at a retail center in Honolulu. This position involves constant walking, standing, moving, good communication skills and a strong customer service aptitude. While previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or related fields is beneficial, we are willing to provide training. Applicants must be capable of performing basic manual labor, including lifting, pushing, and pulling at least 30 lbs. Candidates should also be prepared to routinely bend, squat, and stretch during their shifts and maintain a fast paced while walking and pushing carts.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the facility
Stand and walk for extended periods
Communicate effectively in English
Access to elevator and stairway (two floors)
Clean office spaces
Drive a golf cart inside of property
Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning
Clean and restock restroom supplies
Sweep and mop interior and exterior floors, clean glass doors and mirrors
Disinfect frequently touched surfaces
Wipe down all tables and chairs
Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas
Lift trash from bins, bend, and navigate staircases
Push trash bins as needed
Skills/Qualifications:

Must pass background check
High school diploma/GED preferred
Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
Must have good public relations skills and communication
Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, frequently press, lift, push, pull, carry a minimum of 30lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, stair and ladder climbing and stand throughout their shifts.
Schedule: Sunday: 1p-9:30p, Wednesday: 5:30p-9:30p, Thursday: 5:30p-9:30p, Friday: 1p-9:30p, Saturday: 5:30a-2p (32 hours per week)

Days off: Mon./Tues.

Compensation: $17.50/per hour
