Experienced Machinist (cnc & manual)

Privately held food processing equipment manufacturer in the Northern Suburbs looking for an Experienced Machinist.
Must have MANUAL and CNC experience (HAAS TL-2 CNC Lathe)

Ability to Set up and operate MANUAL lathe and Mill
Ability to set up, program and operate HAAS CNC Lathe.
Operate general shop tools such as drill press, grinders, saw, etc.
Ability to read blueprints and manufacture to print specifications
Proficient in the use of micrometers, dial indicators and calipers
Capable of holding tolerances up to .002 a plus
Contribute ideas to the design and machining process of our products
Be a self-motivated employee who is comfortable working independently

High School diploma or GED, Technical School a plus
4+ years of manual mill and/or lathe experience, 4+ years of CNC mill and/or lathe experience
Basic G-Code programming knowledge (HAAS experience a plus)
Ability to read /communicate / follow written work instruction in English
Attention to detail, with a can-do attitude!
Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude, good shop math and problem-solving skills
Occasionally able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate a small lift
Reliable, consistent work attendance

Details:
Competitive Salary from $35-40/hr DOE
First shift: full time. Occasional overtime. Schedule flexibility.
