Certified Medical Assistant

We are a very busy Podiatric practice. We are looking for a Part Time Certified Medical Assistant that can float both back and front office. The position requires knowledge of both back and front office practices. We have Two providers in the morning and in the afternoon seeing approximately 40 plus patients per day. The floater would need to check patient's in/out collecting copays, balance on accounts, room patient's, assist in minor office procedures, have full HMO/PPO insurance knowledge., scheduling appointments, requesting authorizations, entering data into EMR's, Have working knowledge of EMR's Requesting benefit information for DME's, Processing and collecting messages for all staff members, etc... Time would be spent training in the front office as well as the back office. Time would be split between the two departments 25 hours per week. Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 2:00PM.
