Service Manager/Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The position includes but is not limited to the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements.

Equipment service and repairs to include:

- Maintenance/repair on all Matador Coffee owned field equipment

- Filter changes

- Refurbishing/repairing equipment for resale

- Maintaining/repairing Matador Coffee shop equipment

-Repair coffee brewers, espresso machines, coffee grinders, any equipment

associated with coffee preparation

-Ability to use a multi-meter and other basic diagnostic tools to diagnose

issues on hot beverage equipment in conjunction with service manuals to

find the most-cost effective repair

-Complete all assigned work and associated paperwork

-Ability to follow in-house ticketing and work tracking procedures

-Ability to communicate professionally with customers at all levels and strong

desire to provide excellent customer service

-Provide equipment training as needed to ensure quality beverage delivery

to your customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Experience with hot beverage dispensing equipment is preferred but not

required

-Must possess basic computer/smartphone skills and own a smartphone

-Possess valid drivers’ license and be insurable as a driver

-Ability to travel to stores and occasionally out of town

-Ability to work independently

-Lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs from the ground to overhead

-Move up to 300 lb. machines w/assistance from dolly or other team members

grasp/manipulate objects

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those

an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Working conditions of the position include:

-The noise level is usually moderate to normal range. The noise level can increase during coffee roasting

-Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision

-Work with high voltage electrical components

-Work in varied, fast-paced and potentially high-stress customer environments
