Civil Site Estimator

Site Development Company in search of an experienced Civil Site Estimator. EOE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicant will be responsible for the daily operations of estimating, including but not limited to: ensuring proposals are detailed and accurate, managing projects from commencement thru completion, safety compliance is in accordance with State and Federal laws (OSHA), maintain efficient project goals to minimize any inefficiencies, work directly with office and site personnel to ensure the project runs smoothly, communicating with clients, coordinating with subcontractors on site and maintaining the highest of quality of standards and service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Solicit civil site work projects
• Prepare detailed proposals for clients
• Attend pre-bid meetings and visit sites accordingly
• Direct involvement with engineers, architects, surveyors, State and Federal agencies and clients
• Translate construction plans, drawings and specifications
• Project Management
• Implement OSHA Safety Standards and company safety protocol to ensure safety of all construction personnel

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Senior Estimator minimum 5 years experience
• Full knowledge of Project Insite Software (THIS IS A MUST)
• Advanced knowledge of commercial construction and civil site construction
• Strong leadership skills
• Effective time management skills
• Problem solving skills

SALARY

Salary commensurate with experience (competitive pay)
