Location: San Fernando Valley
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Full-Time)
Pay: Salary DOE (based on experience)

We are a busy and growing outpatient mental health clinic looking for a dependable, organized, and patient-friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team right away.

This position is ideal for someone who understands how important front office operations are in healthcare and can keep things moving smoothly for both patients and clinicians.

✅ Core Responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming patient calls
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accurately
• Maintain provider schedules and minimize no-shows
• Assist patients with intake paperwork and documentation
• Collect copays and update patient records
• Coordinate communication between clinicians and admin staff
• Send appointment reminders and follow-ups
• Maintain organized and accurate records in EHR systems
• Support smooth day-to-day clinic operations

✅ Required Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical or mental health office preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of insurance eligibility & verification
• Strong appointment scheduling and calendar management skills
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable using EHR systems and office software
• Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality practices
• Team player with strong work ethic

⭐ Highly Preferred

• Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medi-Cal
• Mental health clinic experience
• Experience handling high call volume
• Bilingual Spanish/English
• Telehealth scheduling experience
