Pool Service Technician Wanted – Long-Term Salaried Position at Tucson Pool Company!

Tucson Pool Company is a small, family-owned and operated business in Tucson, Arizona. As a KA-5 Dual Swimming Pool Contractor, we specialize in weekly pool maintenance, new pool construction, and remodels. The owner (me/general contractor) handles sales and construction projects, while my wife manages operations, client relations, training, payroll, and day-to-day communication. We're looking for a reliable team member who fits well into our close-knit family dynamic.

This is a long-term, full-time salaried W-2 position (we are NOT looking for part-time, short-term, or hourly help). If you're committed, adaptable, and ready to grow with a small family business, this could be a great fit.

What We Offer:

Annual salary starting at $40,000- $50,000 (based on experience, with opportunities to increase through performance and advancement)

Salaried W-2 position – expect variable day lengths: some days may be shorter, while others require flexibility to finish the work (even if it takes a couple hours longer sometimes – this is a big part of the role to ensure routes are completed properly)

Company truck provided – we pay for all gas
You are allowed to take the company truck home (a good, clean driving history is required due to the insurance requirements)

Full-time work with consistent weekly routes

Opportunities for extra pay and advancement – we build and remodel pools, so there's real room to grow!
Bonus for any background in masonry, concrete, or related skills (lots of crossover work available)

Main Responsibilities:

Weekly residential pool service and regular maintenance including:
Testing and balancing chemicals
Cleaning pools (skimming, brushing, vacuuming, filter cleaning, etc.)
Basic equipment checks and minor repairs

Potential to assist on other projects, pool remodels, and new builds as you gain experience

Ideal Candidate:

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently long-term with schedule flexibility

Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona heat

Valid driver's license with a good, clean driving record (required for taking the company truck home)

Able to take direction well and communicate effectively – you'll receive training from and report primarily to my wife (a woman) for day-to-day operations, payroll, scheduling, and client-related matters

No pool experience required – we will train the right person!

Experience in pool service or construction is a plus

Masonry or concrete background is a BIG bonus for advancement opportunities
