Accounting/Payroll Clerk (Full-time, Weekly Pay)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team! In this vital role, you will support the payroll process by ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, managing payroll data entry, and assisting with office administration. Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll for employees accurately using payroll software.
Enter and verify employee data related to hours worked, salary adjustments, deductions, and tax information with precision.
Reconcile payroll accounts through detailed analysis of general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable records, and account reconciliation procedures.
Assist in the preparation of journal entries related to payroll expenses and ensure proper posting within the organization’s financial software.
Maintain meticulous records of payroll transactions, employee details, tax filings, and audit documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
Collaborate with the human resources team to ensure accurate data entry for new hires, terminations, and status changes.
Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors and resolve issues promptly.
Qualification
Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in payroll software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data effectively.
Familiarity with tax regulations and 2026 Labor Law compliance related to payroll processing.
Experience with payroll systems for maintaining employee records.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills for interacting with employees and other departments.
Tagalog speaker preferred (bilingual communication is a plus)
Pay rate: Depending on experience (Payrate $22/hr)
