Large Format Operator

We are looking for a Digital Apprentice to help with digital printing and pre-press work.

This role involves preparing proofs, checking color and running a digital printer. You’ll work with artwork files and help produce print jobs on a commercial digital press.

You will also help with other pre-press tasks and support day-to-day production needs. This is a hands-on job for someone who is comfortable working on a computer and around printing equipment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare digital proofs
- Check color matching
- Make basic edits to artwork files
- Help with other pre-press tasks as needed
- Set up and run jobs on a digital printer
- Do test prints and check print quality
- Work with dielines and layouts
- Follow instructions and production steps
- Help with ad-hoc requests to keep work moving

Requirements

- Comfortable using a computer
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Attention to detail
- Willing to learn printing equipment and processes
- Able to work in a production environment

Printing or pre-press experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

$20.00-25.00 per hour (DOE)
