Job Description
Western Highways Traffic Safety Products is seeking an experienced Fabrication & Electrical Finisher to join our team in Selma, CA. This position is responsible for welding, fabrication, vehicle wiring, and final finishing of custom truck beds and related assemblies within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and skilled in both metal fabrication and electrical installation, with the ability to read blueprints, work collaboratively, and produce high-quality finished products that meet company standards.

Work Schedule & Requirements
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS / DISCLAIMERS:
· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
· Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 8-hour shifts (schedule may vary)
· Overtime may be required
· Experience with vehicle wiring is required
· High level of attention to detail required

Job Responsibilities
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and work instructions
· Measure, cut, assemble, and weld metal components to specification
· Perform wiring, electrical installation, and troubleshooting on custom truck beds

· Install, configure, and test electrical systems and components
· Diagnose and repair electrical issues as needed
· Source and determine required materials for fabrication and electrical tasks
· Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and fabrication equipment
· Ensure finished work meets quality standards and blueprint tolerances
· Document completed work using digital work instructions
· Maintain an organized tool cart and ensure availability of required tools and materials
· Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace
· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience in welding and fabrication
· Experience with vehicle electrical wiring
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods
· Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and time management
Preferred:
· Minimum 2 years of electrical installation and repair experience
· Completion of an electrical or welding apprenticeship or technical program
· Knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques
· Ability to solder, crimp, cut, and strip wires
· Experience fabricating and assembling wire harnesses
