Job Description

We are launching a new concept and are gearing up for our hard launching after a very successful turn out for our soft opening. We are looking for fine-dining/high-end restaurant experience (4 years+) in individuals to join our team who can bring warm and thoughtful service to our guests. This is not an entry-level job. Teamwork is a must on busy nights.

We are open only for dinner and only 5 days a week; flexible availability is preferred. Those with second jobs are also welcome to apply. Potential for full-time position.

HOST/HOSTESS:
-OpenTable/iPad experience preferred (table rotations, bookings, electronic guest communications, etc)
-Problem solving/dynamic plotting as things change during shift (late arrivals, walk-ins, overstays)
-Restroom checks, occasionally helping reset tables
-Updating reservation system with guest information
-Maintain menus and host stand cleanliness
-Overall pleasant communication with our guests (answer any questions, helping with bookings, delivery of unfavorable news, etc)
-Foodhandler Cert/RBS

SERVERS:
-Confidently and successfully manage 4-5 tables of 4-6 guests each
-Run food sporadically if expo/runners need a helping hand
-Manicure tables throughout dinner service to ensure guests move along their reservation time
-Strong situational awareness; to notice what needs to be done without being told
-Foodhandler Cert/RBS
