AutoCAD Draftsman

Well established design-builder, 42 years in business, seeking full-time, skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to work in our Pawling, NY office. The right candidate will be very detail oriented and highly skilled in design software; being able to blend their knowledge of both design and construction. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and uses a proactive approach that wants be involved in all phases of the design process.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be actively involved in the design development phases, this can include 3D modeling, sketchup programming and the development of preliminary drawings, floor plans, elevations, etc.
- Occasional field work; measuring existing buildings and sites.
- To take part in the construction drawings phase and work closely with our professional engineer.
- Compliment our team with innovation, inspiration and look to bring our business to the next level.


Successful Applicant should have:
- At least 5 year experience with AutoCAD software.
- Experience with Sketchup and 3D modeling, or other similar programs (Revit, illustrator, or Photoshop)
- Must have knowledge about construction and designing principles.
- Be able to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team and be communicative with all members of staff.
