Construction Manager & Construction Inspectors

Provcity Group is seeking experienced Construction Managers and Construction Inspectors to support major Utility and Department of Transportation (DOT) projects across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Project Locations

DOT Projects: Rhode Island

Utility Projects: Massachusetts

Responsibilities May Include:

- On-site inspection and documentation of construction activities

- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements

- Monitoring contractor performance and progress

- Coordinating with utility companies, DOT personnel, contractors, and engineering teams

- Preparing daily reports, photos, and field documentation

- Identifying field issues and working with project leadership to resolve them

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience with DOT or Utility construction projects preferred

- Knowledge of roadway, civil, gas, electric, or site construction practices

- Strong understanding of safety standards (OSHA 10/30 a plus)

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites

Minimum Requirements:

- High School Diploma (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

- Relevant field construction experience

- Must posses OSHA 10/30 Certification

- Ability to work independently and professionally in the field

- Compensation & Employment Type

- Hourly Contract Position (no benefits)

- Pay range: $35–$45 per hour, based on experience

- Opportunities for extended assignments depending on performance and project needs
