Associate Attorney- General Liability and Toxic Tort

Beacon Hill's client is currently hiring Associate Attorneys with 2+ years of defense litigation experience to join one of the following practice groups:General LiabilityToxic Tort LitigationBeacon Hill's client is a nationally renowned litigation law firm concentrating on complex civil matters. Our goal is always to deliver optimal results at the best possible value.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHandle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.Independently manage a litigation caseload.Conduct depositions.Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.Review and analyze discovery requests.Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.Prepare court filings and service to counsel; experience with e-filing.Trial preparation and support.Maintain accurate time records.Candidate RequirementsA minimum of 2+ years of defense litigation experience. Preference for experience in one or more of the following practice areas:General Liability or Product LiabilityComplex Litigation, Toxic Tort Liability, or Environmental LiabilityJuris Doctor from an accredited law school.Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.Experience with motion practice and depositions.Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.Capable of independent work.Work in an organized and efficient manner.Superior research and writing skills.Ability to multi-task.Ability to analyze complex matters.Why Should You Apply?Our associates work closely with senior lawyers and clients on challenging work in an entrepreneurial and collegial environment.
